Ignite the Voice began its journey with a Kick Off Event in June of 2015 at the Bregamos Community Theater in New Haven. Along with Professional performers local to the New Haven Community doing feature performances for the audience of young people, there was an open Mic format that encouraged all people young and old to share their gifts of expression, setting the atmosphere for a true celebration of community and art!
